Ending the rat race

Today was Dan’s last day at his work. He quitted his federal government job which many people find it as crazy to leave behind a stable job with great pension plan. All of this is to pursue our dreams to live in a medieval house in France with many unknown paths, challenges and surprises. Both of us have determined that this is what we would like to do. Life is very short and the average number of years that people die after their retirement is discouraging, so we chose to live now 😊
