DAY 3
Take boat tour or canoeing if you feel a bit more sporty and followed by exploring Château de Beynac. Picnic lunch at Garden Marqueyssac and continue exploring this garden which is listed as a National Historical Monument and offer more than 6 km of shaded paths, edged with 150,000 hand-pruned boxwoods aged over hundred years.
DAY 4
Visiting one of the sacred places in France, Rocamadour which offers religious history dated back about 70AD and beautiful architectures with spectacular views. This magnificent village is situated atop a rocky plateau overlooking the Alzou Valley. After lunch, the adventure continues to visit The Gouffre de Padirac, an incredible cave system containing an underground river, gorge and huge cavern.
DAY 5
Today is all about food. You will explore one of famous markets in the region. Sarlat market is heaven for food lovers and depending on the season you can find foie gras, the famous cepe mushrooms, magret (duck breasts) & confit (conserves of duck or goose), truffles, walnuts, strawberries and countless other delicious local products to tempt the visitor’s taste buds. After lunch, the food exploration continues by visiting the local farm.
DAY 6
Explore our village Domme, founded in 13th century and voted one of the most beautiful villages in France. It offers stunning view over Dordogne River and activities such as visit the cave, petit train, learn life in Perigord in the last centuries at musée L'Oustal du Périgord, visit Templier prison and check out different types of stores which are just steps away from your stay.
